Franco Joly
Franco Joly is a french born artist who lives mainly in France.
After studies of Architecture at the Unité d'Enseignement et de Recherche d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme in 1976/1981, he starts his career as free lance designer, making different pieces of furniture and artefacts as well.
Soon, he collaborates with european firms such ast the CRISTAL DAUM of Nancy, VILLEROY & BOCH Luxemburg, The EMAUX de LONGWY France, WILKENS BREMER AG Germany, KOZIOL Gmbg Germany ...etc. for which he creates series of different items. Some of his works are regularly sold at auctions.
He begins to work as photographer since 1993 and his first exhibition takes place in 2003 at the ARKOS Gallery. Soon after he begins to create digital images with the help of a computer in order to create his own style beyond realism.
